Families can be together forever

Brock was finally able to be sealed to his parents last week.
It was great to have so much of our family there to support Brock, Tammy and Craig. It was great to be with all of them in the temple that morning. Zak was able to be there with us also, I know this was a very special expreince for him as well.

Daddy Soffe

My dad recently retired from the Salt Lake County Sheriffs Office and just started working for the new Cottonwood Heights PD. This is a warning for anyone in the cottonwood heights area, I wouldnt speed if I were you:) He's one of the two motorcylcle cops, which I think he's pretty excited about. From the looks of him you'd never know he was a grandpa!

Police Memorial

We spent the morning up at the Capitol for the Police Officers Memorial. Isaac loves spending time with Aunt Ari and Grandma!

Look at those adorable chunky cheeks! He had it easy sleeping the whole hike and then just hanging out once we got to the lake! He'll probably appreciate it a little more in a few more years!

We went hiking with my in-laws this weekend up to Albion Basin. We had a great time hanging out at Lake Catherine for a few hours. Isaac was a champ! I think he enjoyed his first big hike...

Motherhood...

You can never describe what it means to be a mom until you experience this amazing phenomenon for yourself...I love this little tiny person more then words can explain. I find myself kissing his cheeks hundreds of times a day. When I leave him I feel a part of me is missing. From the moment he arrived in my arms I felt that something that was missing in my life was finally here. And I didn't even know I was missing something...Being a mom is the most natural thing, I love that when he is crying in someone else's arms, I get to be the one to take him and soothe him until he's done crying. I never would have guessed I could survive on so little sleep. Some nights I only get an hour or two, and yet life goes on, and I find strength from within that I didn't know I had. I feel so blessed that my heavenly father would trust me with this special spirit and I pray every day that I will be the best mom possible for him.
