On Christmas Eve Isaac and I went up to the golf course to go sledding and snow shoeing! We had a great time! Isaac was so dang adorable in his snow suit! I loved it! Brock had to work so he wasn't able to make it and we missed him so, but luckily he met up with us later that day!

Christmas Adam
I just can't believe that today is already Christmas Adam! (Christmas eve's eve just in case you don't know!) This month just flew by, I can hardly believe that it's Christmas this week! Let alone in 2 days! Luckily finals are over and another semester of school is done, it's so nice to have a little break for a month! I actually get to see my husband at nights, it's great! I'm excited for Isaac's first Christmas, it's going to be fun! I already know he'll be more interested in the wrapping paper more then his presents... but it's still will be fun to have him here with us!

My Boys
I just wanted to give a shout out to my boys! I love both of them so much and am so grateful to have them both in my life. Brock is such a help with Isaac and I dont know what I'd do with out him! This picture was really cool but then I played with it too much and now it's just kind of cool. Oh well. Yes that is baby spit on Isaac's shirt:) thats how life works! Babies know when they have a cute outfit on and thats why they always ruin it... But he still is adorable!

Turkey Bowl
Every year on Thanksgiving all the boys get together for their annual Turkey Bowl! It's always one of the highlights of the day and this year was just as great as usual! Here's a few of the highlights:) Here's the sideline cheer section! Secretly this is the real reason I like going. I don't really watch the game...
Brotherly love! haha They were supposed to meet in the middle, it didnt exactly work but I liked the picture anyway...

Bath Time!
Life has been so CRaZy the last few weeks! We've been so busy, especially with school. It seems like the end of the semester is always that way...I love when night time finally comes, and hopefully homework is done and the house is picked up. Every night we feed Isaac his cereal and then he goes straight to the bath. I love this time of night, when Brock is finally home and we all can just relax. I loved these pictures of him they turned out so cute! Just for the record he just put his hands there on his own! I didnt even make him do that:)

rice cereal and apple juice!
The pediatrician gave us the A'okay to give Isaac his first real food. If you call ground up rice cereal mixed with baby apple juice food:) He did so good! I was so proud! Tomorrow we get to try sweet potatoes...Who would have known that introducing new foods to a baby could be so exciting, but it really is. I love my life, I love that what I look forward to in a week is feeding my baby new foods, and watching him learn to grab at objects and being there the first time he rolls over and the second. This is what my life is all about and there is absolutely nothing I would change. There is nothing in life that I want to accomplish more then being a mom and raising my family. I ask myself the question if I wasn't married now, or if I didn't have Isaac what would I be doing, and there is nowhere else I'd rather be. Bath time, tummy time, feeding time, changing time...this is my life and this is all I could ever ask for!

Wesley James Payton
Wesley James Payton was born on October 16th 2008. He is 5lbs 1 oz! He is so tiny and so perfect! I've never been an aunt before and I am so excited!
Here's the proud daddy John and his new little son.
Isaac is a giant next to his new cousin Wesley! They are going to be best friends forever! I can't wait until they are both little toddlers running around grandmas house! It will be so much fun!

The BEARD!
Many of you know that my fanatic of a husband has been growing out his beard for the deer hunt for over a month now! I was not a fan so I was pretty happy when he announced last night that he would be shaving it off! When he came back in the room this is what I got...
A count of Monte Cristo goatee...not too bad but I still think the worst part is that sick stash. So I voiced this out loud and made fun of him for a little while so he said fine I'll shave it off. And when he came back in the room this is what I got...
What the heck..That's not what I meant:) Pretty sick right! Mustaches are sick and not in a sick tight kind of way! haha! Well luckily it's all gone now however you'll just have to trust me because I forgot to get an after shot.

St. Georgie
Last weekend was the open of the deer hunt so me and Isaac packed up our bags and went to visit Aunt Ari in St. George!
Luck for me my mom wanted to tag a long with us...she was a great help with Isaac especially on the drive. I wasn't sure how he'd do 4 hours in his "bucket" but he was great!
Gosh...that's a perfect picture/ really ugly picture haha that's the way we like it! It was homecoming for Dixie so we got to follow Ari around to all her events for the weekend. This is a dinner at the Alumni House...so fun!
I LOVE this picture!! Isaac always makes this face right before he starts to cry! You can't tell me that's not hilarious! I can't help but laugh...I'm a mean mom.
I didn't get very many good pictures on this trip! We were always too busy to think about pulling the camera out. It seems like 75 % of the pics were taken in the car...we're pretty boring like that! Drive on! This is us driving to Vegas to go shopping for the day..which was one of the best days! We found a great mall outside the strip that had a great H & M! I love that store! Thanks E for the tip:)

Rebecca's Baby Shower
Two Saturdays ago it was Rebecca's baby shower! It turned out great, she got all sorts of adorable baby presents. Here's a pic of the girls, my mother-in-law Tammy, Sis-in-law Rebecca and me. We are however missing Erin:( Wish you were there! I am so excited that Isaac will have cousins so close to his age! And as a side note I just found out this morning that Rebecca's water broke and she is in the hospital...so hopefully by tonight little baby Payton (who still doesn't have a name!) will be here!!!

Foliage!
The first week in October we went up little cottonwood canyon and had dinner just the three of us. It was absolutely incredible...these pictures don't even begin to do justice to the colors of the trees! Autumn is with out a doubt the most beautiful time of the year.
This is how isaac enjoyed the whole night. Sleeping soundly in is "bucket". What a champ.

One year older and wiser too...
Happy Birthday to me! Yep it's official I'm the big 21! Now I can really party it up and have a good time! haha! right... we had a great time celebrating my brithday up in Park City this year.
Even Brock the hairy grizzly bear, ditched school for one night to come up and have dinner and cake and ice cream. It was nice to just get away even if it was only for one night. (I can't wait till hunting season is over so he'll shave off that dang beard!;)
Isaac and I spent the day at the outlet mall. I dont think he loves it when I dress him up like a doll and take lots of pictures! But how can I resist look how dang cute he is! Overall it was a great birthday, I just can't believe it's been a whole year already and yet my whole life has changed quite dramatically in the last year! But it has all been for the better!

Three Months Old!
I really can hardly believe that Isaac is 3 months old! It has gone by so fast. I had to put away all his newborn clothes and bring out his 3-6 month clothes and I almost cried... I'm so excited for the new things he's learning and his reactions to us now but I still am sad to see his tiny clothes getting bigger. It really is scary how fast time goes, and supposedly it just keeps going faster.

Gramdma volunteered to watch Isaac while I took one run down the hill with Ari and Bryant. I feared for my life but I made it out alright.
