St. Jorge

Yay for vacations! Isaac and I got to go to St. George a couple weeks ago while Daddy was in Reno and it was so nice! I was sad Brock wasn't with us but we had a great time playing outside in the nice weather. Isaac is my little summer baby and he loves more then anything to play outside! We went hiking, and swimming (indoor), and played at the park, and rode bikes. It was fabulous to get away for a few days and be warm. I am SO ready for spring!!

Baby Bump and Playing the Name Game

First I have promised many that there would be a baby bump picture posted. So here it is. 25 weeks.. Not the best picture, I had to have Brock take it and he was laying down so I'm at a wierd angle and I love that I'm wearing my sweats. To tell the truth I find myself wearing sweats most of the time these days. As soon as I get home I put them on because I can't breathe in my jeans! And I like to feel comfortable so I can chase Isaac!

Well now that that's taken care of. We've decided on a name! yay!! Last time with Isaac I just couldnt decide. It seemed like such a huge decision and I just couldnt figure out exactly what I wanted. But this time I didnt want it to be that way. I wanted to decide and stick with it and call this baby by his name before he was born so we could get used to it... ya know?? So anyway we've picked a name after some decision and it is.....drum roll please... Cody Henry Payton. Cody because Brock always loved that name ever since he was little and I love it too. and Henry is my Grandpa Marshalls name. He'll be our little cowboy. But dont anyone start stitching this name into blankets because it still could change:) haha. But as of this month that's his name and so far I'm sticking to it!

Happy Birthday to Brock!

We celebrated Brocks Birthday a couple of weeks ago. I'm just really slow on updating pictures lately! We couldn't do much since he left for work at 5am and went straight to school until 9pm but we did what we could:) Isaac and I decided to throw him a suprise party so we decorated the house and blew up balloons and made paper crowns. Isaac was so excited he could hardly stand it. So when Brock said he was on his way home we turned out the lights and tried to hide but Isaac was too excited and couldnt stop giggling. But we had a great time! I am so proud of all that Brock is doing! He is gone all the time but I know he wishes he could be here with us. He was in Reno Nevada all last week for a school competition and his team placed 2nd overall for their presenation which is fabulous! He hopes to get a job opportunity from the competition so we'll have to see how that goes. This week he's gone to Oregon all week for work and next week he's going to Montana for work, so it's going to be a crazy month! He's taking 18 credits and working 40 hours and there's not much time in between thats not used for sleeping. We miss him lots but we are proud of him and we enjoy all the time we get to spend together! We are looking foward to graduation in December but for now we are just holding on tight as life takes us on this crazy ride!

Half Way!

Yay!! I'm half way through this pregnancy... too bad the second half is the longest part! I just can't wait till summer gets here and I feel like there's a lot of winter left to be had. We found out a couple of weeks ago that we're having another little boy!! We are so excited, we were hoping to have two little boys in a row! I'm sure they will be great friends! As soon as we get our regular computer up and running I'll try and post a picture of my ever growing belly... there's no denying the baby bump now, I've reached the point where I can no longer hide it and I must embrace it! Time to pull out the maternity clothes I suppose!

I'm trying my best to enjoy the now and not constantly look foward to the future.. especially at this point, I want to focus as much as I can on Isaac before another little one is to steal my time away. I think he'll be a great big brother and I am looking foward to chasing both of them around! Fun times ahead... but like I said it's a good time to focus on todayand enjoy every minute:)

This little one is expected to arrive the first week of June but we are crossing our fingers for the end of May:) But that puts Isaac and his little sibling 2 years apart and I have a feeling they will be best friends! Hopefully:) 3 months down only 6ish more to go!

18 month pictures

A few weeks ago we went to a portrait party at Brock's cousin Mandi's house and we did Isaac's 18 month pics. Technically he's only 16 months but it's close enough. After about 5 seconds of sitting there Isaac started bawling and he didn't stop the whole time so the fact that we got 4 good pictures without tears is absolutely amazing! I love how they turned out, they totally tell his personality right now! Terrible twos here we come:) can they start this early?

Conference Weekend

Brock was able to take Saturday off for conference this weekend and we were so glad to have him with us! Since he never gets Saturday's off we decided to do something fun so we took a drive to Bear Lake while listening to conference. It worked out great because Isaac slept the whole time and we got to enjoy a beautiful ride. Logan canyon was amazingly gorgeous and I'm so glad I got to see all the fall colors! It worked out perfect because we got there about 20 minutes after conference was over and so Isaac got to run around and play for a couple hours. It was pretty cold though! Here's our family pic by the lake.

It was so great to hang out with my hubby all day! We dont get to see him very much in the daylight hours now that he works 50 hours and goes to school at nights. We miss him but we are so grateful that he has this job and so grateful that he is going to school!! We will look back at this time one day and it will seem like it was sooo long ago! But for now I'm enjoying the Journey and loving every minute of it!
