Push Ups!

Isaac is really trying to learn how to do this crawling thing! However he can't quite figure it out... He's got his army crawl down and he gets up on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth and the other day he kept doing push ups like this:) haha! It was funny. Well we went to the Orthopedic doctor for Isaac's trigger thumb today and it looks like we'll just be waiting it out for the next 4 years. The Dr. is doing a study to see if trigger thumb just goes away and now Isaac is officially part of that study! So all we have to do is go see that Dr. for 4 years and if it goes away great! And if not then he'll have to get surgery. He's also feeling much better. The RSV is completely gone and he's my usual happy stinker of a baby!

Two Years Ago yesterday...

This is what we were doing. Getting married! What a wonderful day, it seems like it was ages ago! It's weird how the 2 years goes by fast but then again I don't really remember life without Brock it seems like he's always been there! We were able to go out to PF Changs Saturday night, which was a real treat. We realized we hadn't been to dinner without Isaac in 8 1/2 months! So it was nice to spend time together. However my mom called right after we got done with dinner and said Isaac wasn't doing very well and so she took him to kidscare and they said he had a super bad ear infection, she told me not to worry but I couldn't stop, so we went home after that. I just couldn't have a good time knowing my baby was sick. Yesterday was a little bit rough but he's doing a lot better today. One week down 2 more to go till he's completely better! But at least he's not contagious anymore so we can leave the house if we need to!

Sick Baby = No fun!

Yep little Isaac is sick! What started as a small cold over the weekend took a turn for the worst on Sunday and when I took him into the Doctor today he told me exactly what I didn't want to hear. Isaac's little cold got into his lungs and now he has RSV:( but hopefully he got in soon enough so he can recover faster then average...Since it usually takes 21 days to get better!! So we'll have to see how the next few weeks go. But he's a champ and he's still in a good mood for the most part. But while at the doctor I got some more news...Last Friday I was clipping Isaac's finger nails and I noticed that his thumb kept popping in and out of joint. I thought this couldn't be normal and so I watched it all weekend and I noticed it would get stuck when it was bent and I would have to pop it straight. Everyone thought he was just double jointed but I decided to ask the Dr. while I was there. He said he has something called trigger finger..he has a cyst growing on his tendon and it gets stuck in the bended position and if we don't have surgery on it, the thumb will eventually stay bent and he wont be able to straighten it. So now I have to take him up to a pediatric hand specialist and see if he needs surgery on his tiny little thumb! So overall we didn't have too great of a day. But I'll keep everyone posted on how the little champ is doing!

Saint Jorge!

Isaac and I had a quick weekend get-a-way down to Saint George! We had a great time seeing Aunt Ari, and playing with my mom and Dallen. The only thing I got pictures of was our awesome hike up Snow Canyon, then my camera broke:( I'm still very upset about it...We didn't really have time to do much. But it was really nice to get away, and I feel much more refreshed and ready for life now:) It really helps to take a few days and not worry about all there is to worry about!

ApplePie Wannabe

So I just discovered a Delicious new desert. Well it's new for me at least maybe some of you have had it. Brock made it for me and it's so simple yet so wonderful! HAHA any of you with kids if you haven't tried this it might be a good one...

here's what you need: 1 Graham Cracker some Whipping Cream
some Applesauce some Cinnamon
As you can tell you need some specific measurements here:)

All you do is put your Graham down on a plate, load it with some applesauce followed by some Whipping Cream with a dash of Cinnamon on top! It's amazing! I recommend it! It's like apple pie but not really... haha

Payton Brothers

Last Sunday Tammy wanted to take pictures of all the boys while Jake was here... Erin did a great job as the photographer and as she pointed out this picture is the best because none of them no what to do with their hands.. haha! It's a little bit awkward and I love it! This one really did turn out good! What a handsome group of boys! It's fun to have them all together, it really doesnt happen very often because Jake is in the Marines and doesnt get to come home very often. It's been fun having him here and we're going to miss him when he leaves again.

Happy Birthday Brock!

Brock turned the big 25 today! He's half way to 50 now...this is a big step for him:) We had a fun weekend celebrating his B-day since today he had school and work and school...which is not much fun! On Saturday he got to go Bunny Blasting with his brothers and some friends.. (if any of you are asking yourself what bunny blasting is it's just what it sounds like.. a bunch of boys get together, get their guns, and go out to the middle of no where and shoot poor little innocent bunny rabbits! ) and then that night we went to dinner with our families at Texas Road House which was great fun! And then tonight we had a nice quiet dinner after Isaac went to sleep and Brock got a big bag of candy! I hope he had a great day! I am so grateful for all his hard work and everything he does for Isaac and I! We love him so much!
